For this reason, PCIS GOLD has developed four unique navigation features: Dockable Custom ToolbarThe Dockable Custom Toolbar (DCT) can be set up and customized according to the needs of each employee or department. The content and location of the DCT is restored each time an employee uses his/her ID and password to log onto the system. Active Data AreaThe Active Data Area (ADA) provides employees with quick access to important information by displaying the account, patient, visit, chart, and case that is currently being processed on the workstation. It is located within the Title Bar at the top of the PCIS GOLD application screen where it is clearly visible. It provides a comprehensive listing of all patient information available at any time. 
Recently Accessed DataThe Recently Accessed Data (RAD) is designed to track user access and patient-visit history. Shortcut/hotkey MenuHot Keys are shortcuts that significantly reduce the number of times a user switches between using the keyboard and the mouse while performing a task. The result is easy access to any function without the use of a mouse. |
