DHI Computing Service, Inc. (DHI), founded July 1, 1954, is a privately held information technology company with more than 230 employees. Based in Provo, Utah, DHI is the parent company of four successful divisions—PCIS, FPS GOLD, GOLDPoint Systems (GPS), and DHI-Provo. PCIS serves the medical group practice market, FPS GOLD financial institutions, GPS commercial lending organizations, and DHI-Provo dairy producers. DHI entered the medical group practice market in 1964. At that time, the Salt Lake Clinic selected DHI to design and program automated practice management software. Since then, DHI has continued to expand and enhance this software, building upon its reputation as an industry leader to develop its PCIS GOLD^® Practice Management (PM) System.

Over the years, PCIS has worked with several notable clinics—Visalia Medical Clinic, Sterling Rock Falls Clinic, Oklahoma Cardiovascular Associates, Eye Clinic of Wisconsin, and more—to refine and enhance its software-based products. Through these relationships, PCIS is presently building its soon-to-be-released electronic medical record (EMR), which will offer clients a seamless connection to the company’s PM solution. This product is slated for release during the fourth quarter of 2009.

PCIS also offers medical groups patient kiosks, Web portals, and e-Prescribing functions.
